"SDSS-V and beyond: participation in the LVM and the new AS5 proposal"

We present here the state-of-the-art of the participation of the IA-UNAM in the SDSS-V and the new proposed After-Sloan-5 proposal (future SDSS-VI), making an emphasis in the stronger contributions of the IA members: the development of the LVM-DAP, the participation in the data analysis and science production, the current and future DR, and the upcoming new generation of the SDSS survey.

El Dr. Sebastián Francisco Sánchez Sánchez, astrónomo español naturalizado mexicano, es especialista en la evolución de galaxias mediante espectroscopía de campo integral, campo en el que es pionero y referente internacional. Ha liderado proyectos como CALIFA, con gran impacto en la comunidad científica, y ha contribuido a más de 600 publicaciones con un índice H de 95, siendo uno de los astrónomos más citado en México. Además, ha formado a nuevas generaciones de investigadores a través de la UNAM y múltiples colaboraciones internacionales. Actualmente lidera la participación de la UNAM en el proyecto Local Volume Mapper del Sloan Digital Sky Survey.
